Managing and reviewing your mortgage

After your mortgage has started, it's important to be able to adapt to your changing circumstances.

You'll need to quote your mortgage account number whenever you have a mortgage query. This can be found on your mortgage statement or other mortgage related letters.

When using the self-service forms please select 'Mortgages' first and then choose your request.

You can check on your mortgage transactions and balance using Internet Banking service.

If you're thinking of paying off your mortgage and would like to know how much you owe, we can provide you with a redemption statement. This will also show any early repayment charge and Closing Administration Charge that may be payable.

Depending on your status, you'll need to provide slightly different information. Are you:

  • The homeowner

Once you have this information, you can request a redemption statement.

Your request will be actioned within 48 hours.

Order a copy of your last annual statement by calling us on 0345 835 3380.

Order a certificate of interest by calling us on 0345 835 3380.

If you are considering changing your payment method from repayment to interest-only, you will be required to provide evidence of your repayment plan.

Interest-only mortgages are only available when the amount of the loan is less than 75% of our latest valuation of the property.

For other changes to your mortgage account, such as changing the length of your mortgage term, please call us on 0800 056 1088. If you are planning to rent out your residential property, please call us on 0345 835 3381 . A charge may be payable for some services.
