TSB welcomes new corporate strategy director

1st October 2018

TSB announces today the appointment of Marc Armengol as Corporate Strategy Director.

Marc will join the TSB leadership team in a new role focusing on the development of TSB’s growth strategy.

This follows TSB Executive Chairman Richard Meddings setting out three clear priorities for TSB over the coming months: completing the work of putting things right for customers; secondly, enabling the Bank to achieve full functionality for our customers, including availability of all product services and the launch of a leading business banking offer; and thirdly, appointing a Chief Executive for the next chapter of TSB.

Marc joins TSB from IberiaBank, a US-chartered bank, where he has led its corporate strategy through acquisitions and the transformation of its organic business.  Prior to his current role, Marc has held multiple roles across Sabadell Group.

Marc Armengol says:  “I’m looking forward to joining TSB as Corporate Strategy Director and helping to take TSB forward to the next stage.”

Richard Meddings, TSB’s Executive Chairman, says:  “On behalf of the TSB Board, I’m delighted to welcome Marc to TSB and look forward to working with him.  Our focus continues to be on putting things right for customers and achieving full functionality, including availability of all product services and the launch of a leading business banking offer.”
