What are the features of our Spend & Save account?
Our Spend & Save accounts have more benefits and optional features that you can use, including:
Earn £5 cashback for up to 6 months. This includes the month your account changes to a Spend & Save account. Cashback is earned by making at least 20 debit card payments each calendar month. Full details on how you can earn Cashback can be found here.
Set up Savings Pots to earn 2.89% Gross / 2.92% AER Variable. You create up to 5 pots and save a maximum of £5,000 in each one. Plus, you can easily name them to match your savings goals. Learn more about Savings Pots
Save the Pennies automatically rounds up every debit card payment to the nearest pound. The spare change will go straight into your Savings Pot or other eligible TSB savings account. Learn more about Save the Pennies
Auto Balancer lets you set a minimum balance limit on your account, so you’ll never go below it. If you hit that limit, we’ll automatically move money from your chosen Savings Pot to top it up. Learn more about Auto Balancer
Once we've received your request, we'll convert your existing account to a Spend & Save account within 14 days. Once this is complete, we'll send a confirmation email to the email address you have registered for TSB Internet Banking. (Please note, this email indicates that you will receive a new debit card and PIN. Please ignore this and continue using your existing debit card and PIN, and you will not receive a new one). You will also be able to see when your account has been converted to Spend & Save when you login to your Internet Banking account. (However please note that if you have previously re-named your account in Internet Banking, this will remain in place). If we are unable to convert your account for any reason, we'll endeavour to contact you by email.
