How you can keep your money safe.
1. Logging in
2. Keeping software safe
3. Protect your PIN, user ID, password
- Never share your PIN, digital banking password or username with anyone, not even TSB staff.
- Create a password that's different from any others you use.
- Make sure you use strong passwords, for example 3 random words. For help on passwords visit the Cyber Security Agency.
- We will never ask you for your full pin, password or memorable information. If you call us, we may ask for certain characters of your memorable information to verify your identity.
4. Don't overshare on social media
5. Think before you move or send money
- If anyone is insisting you move money or send money... don't.
- Even if it sounds like someone you know, double check it is really them. Ask a question only they would know the answer to.
- Whether it’s by phone, email or text – be on your guard. It’s your hard earned cash.
- Use our Scam Checker to check the payment before you make it.
