TSB bank plc appoints new marketing director from Aviva UK

TSB Bank plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Pete Markey as Marketing Director.  Based in London, he is responsible for developing and driving forward TSB’s marketing and brand strategy.  Pete will lead a team of over 40 Partners in London and Bristol, and reports to Nigel Gilbert, Chief Marketing Officer.  Pete takes over from Andrew Gillespie, who previously held the role on an interim basis.
 
Pete joins TSB from Aviva UK where he was Brand Communications and Marketing Director responsible for managing Aviva's multi-million pound brand.  Prior to this, he worked at the Post Office for two years as the Chief Marketing Officer looking after its full range of products and services, such as mails, telecoms, mobile, financial services and insurance.  Other senior roles in Pete’s extensive career include Chief Marketing Officer at RSA Group, Marketing Director at MORE TH>N and Head of Marketing Operations at Centrica.
