Benefits of going paperless

By making the switch to paperless, you’ll receive your statements and correspondence digitally in your Digital Inbox instead of in the post.

  • You can view, download and save previous months’ documents at any time in the Mobile Banking App or Internet Banking
  • You’ll be reducing your carbon footprint and helping us reduce paper waste.

We’ll also send you an email to let you know when we have sent something new to your Digital Inbox.

Frequently asked questions

Your Digital Inbox can be found in the Mobile Banking App and Internet Banking, and it’s where you’ll find your digital statements and correspondence, regardless of whether your account is paperless or not. It’s a secure and convenient way to keep all your statements and correspondence in one place. We will never alter or delete any items in your Digital Inbox.

You can view, download or save any statements and correspondence in your Digital Inbox in the Mobile Banking App or by logging in to Internet Banking and clicking on ‘Your Inbox’ on the top right-hand side.

By going paperless you’ll be switching off paper statements and correspondence received in the post, and instead you’ll receive them in PDF format in your Digital Inbox. You can access your Digital Inbox in the Mobile Banking App or by logging in to Internet Banking and clicking on ‘Your Inbox’ on the top right-hand side.

All customers have a Digital Inbox, even if they are not yet paperless. You can log in today and explore the Digital Inbox to see how it works before you decide. Once you switch to paperless, we’ll email you every time we send something new as a reminder to log in and read your documents.

It’s easy to change your settings at any time by logging into Internet Banking and clicking on ‘Manage online and paper preferences’.

You’ll find your statements and correspondence dating back to 1 January 2019 in your Digital Inbox. You can access your inbox in the Mobile Banking App or Internet Banking by clicking on ‘Your Inbox’ on the top right-hand side. Paperless documents will be in PDF format and they’ll look exactly the same as the paper versions.

We’ll also email you whenever we send something new, so it’s important that you keep your contact details up to date. You can change them in the Mobile Banking App or Internet Banking.

A few things to remember:

  • We recommend you log in regularly to check your Digital Inbox
  • We’ll never alter or delete any of the documents
  • Occasionally we may still need to send you paper documents.

We recommend you take some time to read the Paperless Terms and Conditions within Your Internet Banking Agreement because they explain more about how paperless works.

You can change your paperless settings at any time by logging into Internet Banking and clicking on ‘Manage online and paper preferences’.

You can choose which accounts you want to be paperless and which accounts you want to still receive statements and correspondence for in the post. Depending on your account, you may also be able to choose how often we send you statements.
