Here's why Google Pay is the easy and safe way to make payments:
Google Pay does not send your actual card details when you make a purchase
Your actual card numbers are not stored on your device
Every time you make a transaction, a virtual account number is used to represent your card information to the merchant and complete the purchase, so your card details stay safe
What if I lose one of my devices?
Call us immediately on 0345 975 8005 if you think your Android device has been lost, stolen or compromised, so that way we can stop transactions on your account. You can also discuss any unrecognised Google Pay transactions on your account by contacting us on this number. If you want to cancel your physical card/s, please call us on 0800 015 0030. Lines are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
If you have enabled remote location access on your device, you can find, lock or erase it using
Android Device Manager. Since Google Pay doesn’t store your actual card details on your device, anyone who finds it or steals your device won’t be able to access that information even if it’s unlocked.
