Update your business details

For your account to run as smoothly and securely as possible, it’s important to keep your business details up to date.

We can support the following requests using the ‘Update your business details’ form:

  • Change of business name
  • Change of business address
  • Remove a person from your business or business account
  • Add a person to your business or business account

Steps to completing the form:

  1. Click the ‘Update your business details form’ button and enter a few basic details, including your account number and sort code.
  2. Select the type of change(s) you would like to make: if your business has signing instructions that require authorisation of changes by an additional person, you will be asked to give us their details as well.
  3. After submitting the change, you will receive an email to authenticate your identity, therefore it’s important to have photographic ID ready to complete this step.
  4. Once your ID is verified you can continue with completing the form.
  5. Once you’ve completed the form, our team will review the changes and get in touch; either to request further information, or to confirm that your details have been updated.

Before you get started, please make sure:

  • You are an authorised person within the business to make the changes. Click here for further details.
  • You have your business name, sort code and account number ready.
  • You have a copy of your photographic ID i.e. a passport or drivers licence.
  • If your business is registered at Companies House, then all relevant details are up to date. If they are not, we will not be able to process your change request.
  • You have proof of address if you are updating your trading address details; this can be a utility bill or tenancy contract dated within the last three months.
  • If you are adding or removing a person from your business, for relevant business types (e.g. Trusts, Clubs or associations) you have a copy of the minutes of the meeting where the new authority position was agreed.
