The Pride of Britain Awards celebrate the nation's unsung heroes. They recognise people who make a difference to the lives of others, and who go above and beyond the call of duty to help others.
TSB is proud to be working with Pride of Britain and celebrating ordinary people who do extraordinary things all across Britain. Today marks the start of the search for nominees who will be recognised at October's awards ceremony. Nominations will be open between 1 June and 2 September, so if you know someone who has made a difference to their community, or has displayed enormous courage whilst trying to improve the lives of others, why not nominate them for a 2016 Pride of Britain Award?
Last year, nearly five million people tuned in to watch the Pride of Britain Awards honour these remarkable people. Winners included Bailey Matthews, an 8-year old with cerebral palsy who pushed himself to the limit to finish a triathlon; Fred and Vivienne Morgan, who turned their home into a school for bullied children; and Sohana Collins, a teenager who - despite suffering a debilitating skin condition - raised £3.5m for charity.
How to make a nomination
It's easy to nominate. You can either submit a nomination online on the Pride of Britain website or pop into your local TSB branch and nominate there.
