How a day out in London resulted in £50,000 raised for charity

We love a charity challenge and this year's London Triathlon was no exception.

After months of training, 109 TSB Partners went head-to-head with our CEO in his #BeatTheBoss challenge at the world's largest triathlon to raise as much money as possible for charity.

#BeatTheBoss challenge - helping to raise a lot of money for a lot of causes

Our super fit CEO, Paul Pester, sponsored each Partner taking part £50 and pledged to double this for anyone who managed to beat his time. Not an easy challenge, when you realise that the boss was once a swimmer in the same team as Sharron Davies!

The fantastic news is that, in total, our Partners managed to raise nearly £52,000 for 42 different charities, including a personal donation of £5,450 from Paul for taking part in the challenge and a further £600 for those who managed to #BeatTheBoss. We're therefore above our fundraising target of £50,000, so a big thank you to everyone who supported us and our Partners.
