Local banking for Britain
At TSB, we have a mission to make banking better for all UK consumers.
We want to help create a Britain where people, and the communities they live in, can thrive together.
These were the values of the Reverend Henry Duncan, who, in 1810, built Britain's first savings bank, with the sole purpose of helping local people thrive, along with their neighbours.
He knew that, in good times as well as bad, that was just the right thing to do.
200 years later, everyone who works at TSB still believes that helping local people and their communities is the most important thing they do.
We call this local banking for Britain.
