    b) Telephone Banking (16 years and over)

How to apply

  • You’ll need to make an appointment at your local branch to open an Under 19s Account.
  • To open an Under 19s Account, you must be aged between 11 and 18
  • If you are aged between 11 and 15, a parent/guardian must be present, both when an account is opened and when additional services are applied for
  • Two forms of ID, such as passport or birth certificate, as well as proof of the parent or guardian's identity and address are required
  • Over 16s don't need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian, but need to bring in two forms of ID and proof of their address

Under 19s Account interest rates

* AER (variable) means Annual Equivalent Rate. AER (variable) illustrates what your interest rate would be if interest was paid and compounded each year. Gross rate is the contractual rate of interest payable before the deduction of income tax.

Internet Banking
Available from age 11. The quick and easy way to control your money. Pay bills, check balances, transfer money between accounts, set up and cancel standing orders, view and cancel Direct Debits and more.

Available from age 11. Children aged 11-13 can use Family Sharing (Apple) or Family Link (Google) to download the app. Make it easier to manage your money on the go. It means you can do your banking on the move from most internet-enabled mobile devices - either using our app or via your mobile device's browser.

Telephone Banking
Available from age 16. You can call our automated Telephone Banking service on 03459 758 758

Use this quick service to:

  • Check your balance and recent transactions
  • Pay your bills
  • Transfer money
  • Check your Direct Debits or Standing Orders

And you can speak to one of our advisers if you have a more complex query between 8am – 8pm Monday to Sunday.
