How to get £130 for switching

  • To qualify for the switching offer and receive the £130 you must:
    • Complete your switch to TSB using the Current Account Switch Service by 22 December 2017 – this will take 7 working days so please start your switch before 16:00 on 14 December
    • Transfer all active credits and debits which must include a minimum of 2 active Direct Debits from your old account and close it. The Direct Debits must still be registered at least 28 days after the switch completes.
    • Pay in at least £500 into your new account within 28 days of the switch.
  • You can only benefit from this offer once
  • You can switch your joint account to TSB under this offer. To do this you will need to:
    • Open a Classic Plus account in one person's name
    • Visit a TSB branch to change your account into a joint account. You must both do this together
    • After you've done this, you can begin the switch. Don’t attempt to switch your joint account until your new Classic Plus is made a joint account.
  • The offer is not available to employees of TSB Bank plc

    b. Before starting the application, you must accept cookies in your browser. If you don't, you won't receive the £130 payment;
    c. Complete a full switch to TSB using the Current Account Switch Service by 22 December 2017. This process takes 7 working days so you will need to start your switch before 16:00 on 14 December 2017;
    d. As part of the switch, transfer all active credits and debits which must include a minimum of 2 active Direct Debits from your old account and close it (this is called a full switch);
    e. Pay at least £500 into your new TSB account within 28 days of the switch completing; and
    f. Have a minimum of 2 active Direct Debits still registered on your new Classic Plus account at least 28 days after the switch completes
  2. This offer is not available through our branches, over the telephone or directly through TSB.co.uk or through mobile banking.

Eligibility

    b. Visit a TSB branch to change your account into a joint account. You must both do this together; and
    c. After you've done this, you can begin the switch. Don’t attempt to switch your joint account until your new Classic Plus is made a joint account.

Payment

  1. Payment will be made to your new Classic Plus account 28 days after the switch has completed (or the next working day if this is a weekend or bank holiday) as long as you have complied with the conditions of the offer.   

Other conditions

  1. TSB have the right to withdraw, alter or replace the offer at any time.
