Adam Banks

Independent Non-Executive Director

Adam was appointed to the Board on 8 February 2021.

After graduating from the University of Portsmouth in Business Information Systems, Adam joined International Computers Limited before moving to Lloyd’s of London.

Adam worked for Visa Europe for sixteen years until 2013 when he moved to Monitise. From 2015 to 2020, Adam worked for A.P. Moller Maersk where he was Group Chief Information and Technology Officer, leading worldwide change, technology strategy and delivery.

Adam currently sits on the Boards of Dakia, Euroclear UK&I and DCSA and is an Advisor to the CEO and CFO of Rio Tinto. Previous advisory board roles include IBM and Gartner.
