We’ll text you when you’re close to your account limit
To make life even easier, you can sign up for our Mobile Banking and if your balance gets close to or over your account limit we’ll send you a text. And you can also get your account balance and last six transactions texted to you every week to help you keep an eye on your money. We won't charge you for Mobile Banking, but your mobile operator may charge for some services. Please check with them.
We have a £10 overdraft buffer
If you use £10 or less of a Planned or an Unplanned Overdraft, you won’t pay any overdraft fees or interest.
If you go overdrawn our Grace Period gives you a little bit of breathing space
If your account goes over its limit, our Grace Period means that you have until 3.30pm (UK Time) to pay in enough money to avoid any overdraft fees you may incur that day. The money needs to be immediately available to use, so you could transfer money from another personal account you have with us via Mobile Banking, Internet Banking or Telephone Banking or pay in cash over the counter in branch.
