Our Platinum Added Value Account includes Worldwide travel insurance (with either Family or Winter Sports cover) AA breakdown cover, mobile phone insurance and much more for £17 a month.

All of this is available through one account and with just one phone number to access all your benefits, making it really easy to manage.

As a Classic or Added Value account customer, you can upgrade online if you are  registered for Internet Banking .

  • AXA Worldwide and UK Travel Insurance  - cover for you and your partner for up to 45 days per trip. Choose from Family or Winter Sports cover.

  • AA Breakdown Cover - Roadside Assistance, Relay and Home Start, whether you're in your own car or someone else's.
  • Mobile Phone Insurance from LSG – worldwide cover for loss, theft, accidental damage, breakdown and unauthorised calls.
  • Save What Matters™ - securely store the data on your mobile phone – including contacts and photos.
  • £300 interest and fee-free planned  overdraft** (Subject to application and approval).
  • £10 overdraft buffer. No overdraft fees or interest to pay if you go overdrawn (either Planned or Unplanned) by £10 or less.
  • Grace period if you go over your limit. You have until 3.30pm (UK Time) to pay in enough money to avoid any overdraft fees you may incur that day.

Getting StartedThank you for opening a Platinum Account with us. We look forward to helping you make the most of the outstanding range of benefits available to you.

Your Platinum Account automatically comes with:

  • Worldwide Travel Insurance - with Family or Winter Sports cover under 80 years of age. You automatically receive family cover but can change this to winter sports cover if you prefer. If you or anyone covered under the policy has any existing medical conditions please give us a call.
    Making a claim could not be easier. All you need to do is telephone the dedicated claims team. If you are abroad and in need of assistance then please contact our 24 hour assistance helpline.
  • AA Breakdown Cover - including Home Start and Relay.

  • Internet Banking - a free service where you can pay bills, transfer money and set up standing orders. Try our 
    Interactive demo.
  • Self-Service - take advantage of our Self Service to help manage your account.
  • Telephone Banking - call 03459 758758 24/7 for all your banking needs.
  • Mobile Banking - helps you to keep control of your finances when you're on the move. Access your UK personal current, savings and credit card accounts via our Mobile Banking app or via your mobile browser. You can also sign up for Text Alerts to help you keep an eye on your balance. We don't charge you to use Mobile Banking, but your mobile operator may charge for some services, so please check this with them.
  • You need to register for Internet, Telephone Banking and Mobile Banking. Terms and conditions apply.
  • Find a Branch or a Cash Machine - need to locate a Branch or Cash Machine.
